Deployment Manager Job Specification
We urgently need a good strong Technical PM, preferably from the telecoms sector.
- Location is Newbury, min 3 months Contract, likely to be long term.
- First 3 months training in Dusseldorf (travel/accommodation to be paid by the Contractor)
- Day rate: £300 (Sterling) MAX
- Will have project managed large scale Infrastructure (servers, networks, storage) delivery and change projects.
- And/or will have project managed large scale Web Apps (Apache, Tomcat, Java) deployments in complex/distributed environments.
- Cisco certified (CCNA/CCNP) with strong IP routing/firewalls skills and UNIX server skills (KEY)
- Min 5 years PM experience. (KEY)
- Vendor Management.
- Prince 2 Practitioner certified.
Role is to PM multiple/converging and inter-dependent work streams that deliver infrastructure changes.
Must be able to work under pressure and have strong communication/people skills.
